3D Car Racer Prototype

This is only a prototype, this is a 3D racing game that features a difficult track, the premise of the game is to try and complete the track with the fastest time possible, the track features 3 laps and after each lap, your fastest time for the lap will be displayed underneath the time to complete the full  track. That way you have a time to beat for each lap completed. While there are some small minor issues, the biggest that I know of is the "Race Completed" screen does not display your final time, I will try my hardest to fix these in order to make the game a smooth experience. 

The idea of the game is that you race around the interior of a volcano, the volcano is the setting as I felt it can contain a lot of hazards, in addition to this, there are no barriers, therefore you will need to be precise and good with turning, this is further developed as there are some sharp turns in the track as well. You need to be able to drive through each of the checkpoints (which will be a big green cylinder) until you reach the finish line, you will know if you are about to complete the track as the cylinder will turn red to mark the final checkpoint of the race. This will not only stop people from avoiding dangers but also to stop people from skipping massive portions of the track. 

This project took roughly 2 months to develop however, most of it was spent getting my ideas, researching into the genre and also developing the project too. I personally do not think this project would have been possible without the help of Kenny's assets, as not only did it help with adding the potential obstacles to my track but also the track pieces too, these assets are essentially placeholders for the actual thing as this is only a prototype, but regardless this project would not have been possible without Kenny.
